A New Look for Alaska’s Vengeance

Ardent Redux Universe, My Writing, Science Fiction

After the unfortunate loss of the original Ardent Redux covers (and a few others) – I decided to recover the series so I could make a few changes to the subtitles and add the Ardent Redux Universe emblem. Redoing these covers meant that I could once again update the back-cover blurb, ISBNs, internal page counts, and anything else my heart desired.

But it didn’t feel right to me to just slap new covers on the entire series and call it a day. So instead, I went through and I made a few changes. I feel like I’ve grown as an author since the originally came out and there were some issues in the original manuscripts that I wanted to update. So that’s what I did. I Started with Alaska’s Vengeance, the short story prequel to the Ardent Redux Saga, then made sure the changes that I made carried into Vengeance Lost as well. While I didn’t make any plot changes (because I love the plot so much), I did adjust the actual ship itself and a few other things here and there. Don’t worry – all Easter Eggs remain.

I announced the new Vengeance Lost book cover already, but now that I’m getting the books updated online I thought it was time to announce the new cover for Alaska’s Vengeance as well (with others coming soon).

While it has taken longer than I would have liked (there are a lot of moving parts coordinating cover artists, editors, and myself) – I’m happy to say things are in the home stretch. The updated version of Alaska’s Vengeance is being uploaded to retailers as I type this.

Anywhoo – without further ado, I present the new Alaska’s Vengeance cover. I hope you all love it as much as I do.
